What’s in the balance?

“The master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his information and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence at whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he’s always doing both.”

We’ve noticed that there’s a constant battle between two camps these days. On the one side, you have the “never not working” advocates who believe working 18, 19, 20 hour days is the key to success. On the other side, you have those who push for a reduced emphasis on work and more emphasis on the things they believe are more important like family, friends, and more leisure time to pursue that which feeds the soul. And somewhere in between, there’s a balance. Or is there?Show Notes
